Every Hypac power unit is assembled complete at our factory, filled with the proper amount of fluid, purged to eliminate air pockets, and tested for proper operation before it ships. Single-Acting Cylinders
Hypac power units can be applied to single-acting cylinders by plugging one port. It will still be necessary to reverse the motor to promote return flow.
Solenoid Valve Wiring
Where solenoid valves are used, the wiring circuit must open the valves whenever the motor/pump unit is running — regardless of direction — to permit free flow of fluid through the system.
Estimating Stroke Speed
Cylinder stroke speed depends on the load applied at the piston rod, and can be approximated from the performance curves of our motor/pump units by converting GPM to cubic inches per minute.
